Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but the bathroom on the ceiling in the small bedroom was a bit odd. The view was nice, but the water temperature was only lukewarm. The service on the night shift was excellent, yet I had an average experience on a couple of evenings in the restaurant. The location was convenient for onward travel to the Windermere area, but the main roads in-and-out of the Lakes were a bit noisy. The dining experience was served in a relaxed atmosphere, but some meals were light. The facilities were adequate overall.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms offered a nice view on the ceiling in the small bedroom and had an excellent bathroom with an actual view. The service during the night shift was commendable. The location was convenient for traveling to see the sights and exploring the Windermere area. The dining experience served globally inspired dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. However, the facilities could be improved, and the price may not fully align with the value received.
The hotel is perfectly situated just on the outskirts of town, offering a convenient location with easy access to the Kendal city area. The room was cozy with a lovely view, but the lukewarm water was a bit of a letdown. The excellent bathroom made up for it though. The restaurant experience was appalling, which was a major downside, but the service from the night shift staff was exceptional.
